Don’t make a grumpy pirate go into the store for her Splenda. That’s what the drive-thru is for. Yes, my eye patch is upside down. Aaaaargh!!! It’s been a long day already, but I survived the Dragon Lady (landlady), got a lot done in the old house and am headed to the new house to pick up my youngest. We need to shop for a birthday present. Two birthday parties this weekend. A horrid eye infection and exhaustion are not going to keep me from seeing my friends. But I am waiting on a doctor friend to get home from a meeting. I won’t put anyone at risk of contagion. Blech. Finally got a bath in the new bathtub at 1:00 this morning. Worth it! And we broke in the new house. Longest it’s ever taken us. We’re officially old and tired. :)
