See, some of us do put on mascara with our mouths closed. Do you like my Outsiders phone case? There is a little drama tonight because Nick arranged for me to go out with a friend, so I could have some fun, but she is evidently joined at the hip to her man, and he’s coming too-uninvited. I also found out since that the two of them acted like drunken fools at our July 4th party and set off Roman candles on our roof and tried to moon our neighbors (Zack, my 14 year old, talked him out of it). She is someone that I have known for years, but not all that well, evidently. I don’t feel close enough to her to speak my mind. Ugh. Not my kind of going out companion. To make it weirder, she still lives with her husband, although they are separated, and the guy she hangs out with constantly is her “cousin”. Luckily, my sister will be along.
