What’s going on with us.

You lot are fantastic as always. And I feel like everyone is so patient not to drop me like a hot rock when I don’t have the time or energy to interact much. I’m thinking of many of you more than you know.

For those who asked, yes, the oldest swore at me yesterday. It was bad (although her tone was not harsh, surprisingly), and she has had a “come to Jesus meeting” with me about her attitude. I’m still not sure what I’ve done to give her such issues with me, but that is a big reason why we’re going to therapy.

That went fairly well on Thursday, although it was with the woman whom Isabella had seen a few times individually. Bella is electing to go back to her, and we will also be going to family therapy. She decided that she wants more open lines of communication. On Friday night she came and asked to snuggle, and we curled up in my bed and watched Castle and had a Nathan Fillion appreciation bonding session.

Yesterday, Zack got to dress up and escort a freshman homecoming princess nominee at the school assemblies. She won. Then Zack said it was “awkward” backstage, because she kept saying that she liked him, but he didn’t like her, and he pretended not to hear her. Eventually he told her that he had no friends and didn’t like anyone. Yep-“awkward” about sums it up. Three if his friends, including his best friend at school, got nominated, but Zack refused to ask anyone.

Bella had her PSAT today. She needed to be there at 7:45, but was so anxious to be on time, that she woke me up an hour early by mistake. We got there at 6:20! Big nerd school that it is, there were already five cars there. Now she is getting her makeup done at Sephora (with money from Grandma). I’ve never had my makeup done, so it seems a bit intimidating to me, but it can’t be that bad, right? I also picked up the corsage and boutonniere that I ordered yesterday, cleaned house a bit, and found a cheap car charger just in time to get a phone call from my parents. They remembered they forgot Sophia’s birthday on the 2nd. I am ready for a nap.
